About this role

Position Summary:

The Key Account Manager will work within the Business Development and Product Sales team reporting to the Sales Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Request For Quotation (RFQ) from the customer
  • Start-up RFQ with supply base (with support from purchasing)
  • Prepare and present the offer to the customer
  • Revise purchase orders from customer according to offer
  • Create and manage the purchase order agreements
  • First point of contact to the customer and liaison with the internal departmentsand supply base
  • Analyze the customer base in order to gain more business (part –service)
  • Implementation & follow-up of new customers & projects
  • Revise & negotiate customer contracts (support from dedicated departments& Sales Manager) & responsible for communication and distribution within
    the global organization
  • Support the implementation of the operational plan and support themeasuring and reporting of the status
  • Escalate market and organizational needs and opportunities to your directmanager and work on continuous improvement projects to adapt to the
    changing and challenging environment
  • Increase the business aligned with the parameter established every year

About you


  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of relevant account management experience with automotive accounts
  • Technical experience and mechanical or material knowledge is a plus
  • Knowledge of relevant quality standards (ISO 9001, TS 16949, ISO 14001)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good negotiating skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Team player and ability to work independently
  • Flexible working schedule with ability to travel approximately 25% nation wide
  • Must be eligible to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship
