About this role

As a Junior Imaging Service Engineer this position works under close supervision of a Senior Engineer Technician.

The position is primarily responsible for preventative maintenance, repairs, and safety testing.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspects, repairs, performs electrical safety and preventative maintenance as required.
  • Maintains and generates records associated with all actions performed on customer equipment. Turns in to dispatcher within 24 hours of start of the job.
  • Source and prices parts.
  • Complies with facility policy and procedures.
  • Maintains work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Maintains and documents inventories as directed.
  • Conducts and maintains duties, personal appearance, interactions with fellow employees, staff, and customers in a professional manner.
  • To comply with ongoing educational opportunities provided and uses unassigned time to increase knowledge on technology and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

About you

Qualifications:

  • Two year degree from an accredited school in electronics.
  • Completed internship with accredited program.
    TYPICAL PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDSRequires frequent (60% to 80% of the time) standing, walking, and bending for long periods of time. Requires frequent (40% to 60% of the time) sitting and working on a computer screen. Requires constant ability to drive and move freely about the customer’s offices which could include climbing stairs and reaching in cabinets. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Lifts up to 50 pounds regularly.
    TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
    Requires constant contact with staff and public. Work is performed in air conditioned/heated facilities. Requires exposure to outside elements up to 10% of the time.
    TYPICAL TRAVEL REQUIREMENTSThis position requires regular travel to perform work. May require more than 50% travel (ground and air) with some over-night travel necessary. Must maintain an active state driver’s license and the ability to be covered on our company auto insurance plan.
