About this role

PREPARE

Ensures timely review of HSE aspect of construction/installation documentation;
Manages the supply of HSE material, equipment and products (e.g. PPE, evacuation masks, life rafts…) for COMPANY. He will coordinate with CONTRACTOR to ensure adequate material and tools for HSE are mobilized on time (for Onshore and Offshore Campaigns);
During offshore activities, coordinate closely with fields operation and other project packages to ensure smooth preparation and coordination of HSE aspects;
Provides HSE advice to the Company Site Representative;

ASSESS RISKS
Ensures that an adapted risk assessment is performed before each potential dangerous activity;
Participates in or organizes Job Safety Analysis (JSA) with Contractor(s), request new JSAs if necessary and monitor its actual implementation during execution;
Ensure identification of risks due to operational changes and implementation of management of changes procedures with associated risks analysis;
Verify implementation of defined Permit-To-Work (PTW) process and controls (audits) to ensure that activities are permanently under control and managed accordingly;

LEAD AND PROMOTE
Motivate all personnel in order to achieve HSE targets and encourage/promote HSE practices improvements
Promote the Project HSE policies inclusive of safety observations;
Ensure deployment of the HSE tools and templates developed in Major Projects;
Promote and participate to HSE communications and workshops as part of safety culture program implementation;
Control and participate in Workforce Toolbox meetings;
Participate to regular coordination meetings to report HSE activities for all disciplines, discuss and agree on safety standards, concerns and potential hazards;
Carry out any other duty or task that may be assigned by hierarchical superiors;

SUPERVISE & COORDINATE
HSE Supervision of the activities: ensure that the work is carried out in compliance with COMPANY values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed COMPANY priorities and objectives, COMPANY standards, project procedures and good industry practices;
Perform and establish good communication between Company and Contractor: maintain good relationships with Contractors, being flexible enough but also strict when necessary to achieve the HSE objectives of the Project;
Ensures that all site personnel are implementing risk mitigation measures adapted to the activity (incl. PPE, scaffolding & lifting activities, etc…);
Ensures robust control of co-activity is implemented;
Ensure that all activities related to working on heights and lifting are performed in a controlled and safe manner.

About you

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Large experience on similar activities at equivalent position;
Senior in Rigging & lifting experiences;
Senior in Working on height + scaffolding activities;
Familiar with TOTAL SA General Specifications;
English fluent;
Offshore experience;
Professional Experience (number of years): 15 with Strong experience in Construction Yard and offshore installation campaigns;
Experience within project (number of years): 10;
Good leadership skills and good communication skills.
