About this role

In this role you will represent the different chains within the production of new products. Currently each chain is represented by a single person, your role will be to become an expert of each chain and represent the various teams in meetings.

You will also be responsible for:

  • The design, realization and test of a system, subsystem and component; understanding and communicating consequences of the design on the architecture;
  • Developing the work with focus on consumer needs and technological competitiveness, you will keep this outside-in approach in mind for designs you create;
  • Developing on the basis of design specifications in accordance with the functional specifications and tests, analyses and verify their performance;
  • Finalizing the design specifications, schematics, drawings, codes and writing test scenarios for the developed modules or components;
  • Drawing up personal schedule and reports on progress in a structured and methodical way and are responsible for keeping the costs of the activities in line with the calculated budget;
  • Delivering input in the planning process to the project leader. Ensures that there is proper documentation for the developed hardware/software/mechanics;
  • Combining existing and/or purchased modules into components, which can be integrated into the subsystem.

About you

In order to do well in this challenging role you ideally have the following skills/experience:

  • A master's or bachelor's in Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering;
  • You are experienced in communicating with various stakeholders;
  • You have experience with working in international teams;
  • You are able to represent various teams in meetings and have excellent communication skills;
  • If you have any knowledge of user interface/experience then that's a plus;
  • You are fluent in English.
