About this role
The Commercial Project Manager (‘CPM’) reports to the CFO and operates within delegated levels of financial and executive authority.
The CPM, jointly with the Project Manager (technical), is responsible for the financial outcome of a project. The primary role of the CPM is to ensure nominated projects are run commercially advantageous by ensuring development and maintenance of effective and responsive project contracts, risk, financial, reporting and performance indicator elements and to independently report to the CFO and CEO the health and status of project delivery.
The CPM shall support the CFO in the development and maintenance of personnel, systems, procedures and tools to ensure the project controls and contracts services provided are high class, state of the art and performed in accordance with QA and compliance requirements.
The CPM shall develop relationships with peers in subsidiary and affiliate companies to assist the implementation of the organisation. The CPM shall encourage and assist Project Controls and Contracts departments to develop relationships with branches, subsidiary and affiliate companies that will foster the sharing of skills and experience and contribute to the growth and development of company-wide technical knowledge and expertise.
