About this role

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Provide commercial and contractual support to the business.
  • Effectively deliver value through competitive sourcing and contract management.
  • Foster collaborative supplier relationships for the mutual benefit of the business and its contracting partners.
  • Support, communicate and contribute to procurement group initiatives with internal customers.
  • Review scope requirements and assess risk and program requirements to draft sourcing strategies.
  • Develop, issue and administer requests for tender.
  • Facilitate tender evaluation, negotiations and draft award recommendations.
  • Oversee due diligence and provide contract life-cycle support.

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce or supply chain.
  • Substantial experience in procurement and contract management environments.
  • Experience in contract management, particularly claim assessments.
  • Skilled in analysing tender submissions and making recommendations to award.
  • Effective written communication skills including drafting contract conditions and variations.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Able to manage multiple work packages and interface with internal customers.
  • Experience working in teams to deliver project outcomes in cost and time sensitive environments.
