About this role

  • Defining the OBD requirements on light- and heavy-duty applications according the relevant legislations (worldwide)
  • Designing technically sophisticated OBD concepts for various applications
  • Supervising and supporting the whole development process (V-cycle) within the OBD area, incl. application and validation
  • Responsible for a successful certification of the OBD system on the relevant markets
  • Close cooperation with all stakeholders from different areas and in different locations; internal as well as external (e.g., customers, authorities)
  • Initiative identification of problem areas and development of relevant solutions
  • Technical support for worldwide acquisitions and development projects

About you

  • University degree in mechanical engineering, electronics, mechanics or physics
  • At least 3 years' experience in OBD development for US and EU market
  • Profound knowledge of powertrain and after treatment systems, including the management system
  • Good knowledge of functional development or control system application
  • Highly motivated individual with passion to push technology beyond the limits
  • High analytical and conceptual skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Good German and English skills
  • Personality is more than anything else is!
